2021 Tournament

We provide powered wheelchairs for deserving young people. In 1974 the late George Makey M.B.E. penned the first of his famous letters concerning the raising of funds to provide PWCs (powered wheelchairs) for disadvantaged youngsters. Since then, we have provided in excess of 570 chairs around the UK.

Lee Trevino and Fuzzy Zoeller were the first ‘high profile’ professional golfers to donate PWCs and set a precedent, following that Open Champions over the years have personally donated more than 30 powered wheelchairs to ‘the crusade’, Seve Ballesteros alone donated 17!

The 2021 Peter Alliss Masters Tournament will take place on the 21st September at Old Thorns in Liphook, Hampshire – GU30 7PE.  The format will be 18 holes, full handicap Stableford, for individual prizes. After the competition, and in front of the press, chairs purchased by the charity on behalf of the fundraisers will be formally handed over to their families.

After the presentation, there will be time to change and meet for pre-dinner drinks in the champagne bar.

In the evening a gala dinner with celebrity speakers and presentation of the Peter Alliss Masters green jacket for the winning man, and Peter Alliss Masters green pashmina for the winning lady.
