Police adopt PAM

Paul Fairley, Secretary & Organiser, of the Hampshire Police Golf Section first came across our charity at Boundary Lakes Golf Club where Peter Alliss and Judy Rankin (USA, Hall of Fame) presented a wheelchair to Handley in August last year before the lockdown in 2020 who drove it around the club lounge with great aplomb.

Paul was so impressed with Handley, he resolved to work with his committee and see what the Hampshire Police Golf Society could do to sponsor PAM in some way,

The HPGS started work in 2020 and even without being able to run the conventional fund-raising events, by the summer had raised sufficient cash for a chair in their name. PAM are now looking for a family in the Hampshire area who needs a chair.

Not only have HPGS beaten the trend this Covid year and raised the funds through on-line auctions and raffles but have committed to adopting PAM as their annual charity of choice for the foreseeable future.
