I finally saw the end result of my two year captaincy, when I raised over £3,000 in the end. The family, who live very close by in Ruskington, were so appreciative and it was a lovely afternoon getting to know them. Both girls were able to benefit from the great work that Peter started all those years ago. Roger was there to receive the cheque too, which was nice. I am so pleased I chose the Masters, as it meant we could see exactly where the money went and to see the joy from the family was humbling and emotional.
